This is one of Maybelline's most popular (and award winning) products, and for good reason. I've been using this foundation for years as it's absolutely perfect for younger skin, it's a mousse so it feels silky, soft, and lightweight on the face and you don't end up with that horrible cakey feeling that you tend to get with a lot of other foundations.
There's a brilliant choice of shades to suit any skin colour, and as it's so light you can build up the coverage gradually without overdoing it and ending up with an orange tinge on your face. It's extremely easy to blend, and can also be applied with a foundation brush, so don't be put off by the fact that it's a mousse foundation as both sponges and brushes work wonderfully with this product.
You don't really need to apply powder afterwards as it's got a matte finish, and it doesn't feel sticky, but I always apply powder after anyway just to set it and keep it in place. It does have a tendency to crease around the eye-lid area, but I've found that this is the case with every foundation I've tried, and it's barely noticeable anyway.
Don't be fooled by the small pot size either, one pot of this usually keeps me going for at least 2 months, if not longer, like I said you don't need to apply too much as it gives excellent coverage. I don't believe that this product should be strictly for younger skin either, I find that a lot of the foundation products advertised on the television nowadays are targeted at older skin but this foundation truly holds it's own and would suit good-conditioned older skin as well.
If you're looking to buy a new foundation, and don't want one that leaves your face feeling heavy, dry, or sticky then this foundation is the one you're looking for, perfect for first time foundation wearers as well, this foundation is (in my opinion) one of the best for those on a budget.
My product rating - 8.5/10 (based on below edit)
EDIT - I'm editing this post, because recently I've decided that I want more from my foundation and, while my above comments still stand, one thing I didn't mention is that this foundation has very little staying power. I find this to be the case with almost all high street brands of foundation, as they're cheaper. I don't have oily skin at all, but I find that throughout the day my t-zone is super shiny and this foundation doesn't really seem to stay in place in that area at all. Read my review of Lancome Teint Idole foundation if you're looking for something that'll stay put all day!
