By way of introducing this product, I'll just say this - I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! Noticing that my usual foundations just weren't cutting it any more, I went in search of something better, and I found it with Lancome's newest foundation, this one. I was reading an article on Cosmopolitan UK's website about the best foundations available, and this one was in the running for the 'foundation that last's the longest' and a foundation with staying power was at the top of my list.

Now, granted, this foundation is a little pricey, but it's well worth the money - it's Lancome, my mum used to use Lancome, your Grandmother probably used Lancome, they're a very well known and successful skin care and make up brand that have been around longer than I have. And when they're asking you to fork out almost 30 quid for 30ml of formula you can almost guarantee quality, scratch that, for that money you have to. Now, on to the actual product review - the first thing that I noticed when applying this foundation was that it blends delightfully, something that I never expect from a liquid foundation. In my experience, most liquid foundations can be a bit stubborn when trying to blend them around the hairline, with this foundation that worry was a thing of the past! As I've mentioned in a previous post, I always end up with the palest shade in a range of foundation, and the colour match with this product was also a dream, and what's more about the colour is that it STAYS THAT COLOUR - this foundation won't oxidize and turn orange-y throughout the day.

This product also has a divine fragrance, that you continue to get wafts of throughout the day, it's heavenly - although this probably makes it unsuitable for those with sensitive skin, so if you do happen to have sensitive skin I'd advise you stay away from this one.

Anyway I'll get to the point here, does this foundation actually do what it says on the tin? Yes. This foundation promises 'no touch-ups' and they aren't lying, Lancome's Teint Idole Ultra 24h does indeed stay put. I haven't actually tested out the 24hr thing, but seriously, who stay's up for 24 hours if they don't have to? I defy any foundation to actually last 24hrs, but for me, and for most people, it doesn't need to - this foundation will remain for the vast majority of your day, and won't melt away into your pores by lunchtime.

My product rating - 10/10
